We stay in my favourite Lakeland Village with easy access from the M6 at Penrith (travelling from the south junction 40 signposted Penrith or if travelling from the north junction 41 signposted Wigton.
Accommodation is in the historic village inn in the centre of this quiet picturesque village, surrounded by a pretty winding river with waterfall and watermill. There is a duck pond, picturesque stone buildings/craft shops and traditional cottages with landscaped gardens as well as an ancient church.
Courses are priced to beat the credit crunch. By choosing your eating requirements at lunchtime and evening from the extensive and varied, reasonably priced menu, you can keep your costs to a minimum. For example not everyone requires a three course meal twice a day.
Beginners/improvers welcome as are non-painting partners.
Keith is a qualified and sympathetic tutor.
